Mortimer’s – Menu Changes Coming

Never one to shy away from riding on the coattails of others, I tagged along with a few friends to Mortimer’s for a friends and family party to sample some of some the new additions coming to the menu. It just so happened to be at the same time as the US semi-final Gold Cup match so I couldn’t bring myself to pass it up.

I’ve been a fan of Mortimer’s for some time now, and as it happens to be the favorite spot for my closest friends, I’ve been there for my fair share of ribald evenings and have developed a bit of a bias for the spot. Still (speaking as objectively as I can) some of the food I sampled is hands down some of the best pub fare you can find in this city.

We were given samplings of appetizers, wraps, pitas, sandwiches, salads and even a couple of desserts. I could go into the litany of items presented, but seeing as how they were still refining each offering (they provided an opportunity for us to rate and provide feedback for anything sampled, leading me to believe that modifications could come for anything presented) I’ll refrain from going into too much detail. Just know that these new items will only improve on an already compelling menu offering.
